The Seedlings Nursery
Welcome to Seedlings, a loving place for children ages 0 – 3 years to be firmly planted in God’s word.
“[Those who are] planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish
in the courts of our God.” Psalm 92:13
Our babies, fresh from the heart of God, are so precious to Him! You will discover that Seedlings is more than just a place to baby sit children. By helping our babies to feel secure and loved at church, we hope to lay a foundation for their future trust in God. We use our precious moments with our little ones to read bible stories, sing and dance to worship songs, and shower them with love and affection.
For the health and well-being of the children, the STAFF will:
•Disinfect toys, equipment, and other surfaces on a regular basis
•NOT work if we are feeling ill
•Wash hands before entering the nursery, after each nose wipe, diaper change, and before handling food or bottles
•Practice safe diapering, including the use of disposable gloves
•Ask the family each Sunday if there are any special needs for the day
•Release the child only to the adult who placed him/her in the nursery
The family’s responsibilities:
•Fill out and return the “Child Information Sheet”
•Only bring healthy children into the nursery. Conditions such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, pink eye or chicken pox are highly contagious. Children with minor cold symptoms without a fever are welcome to join us.
•Label any bottles or sippy cups
•Drop your child off in a clean, dry diaper
•If bringing special snacks, bring enough to share (we will provide animal crackers)
We strive to provide a safe and happy environment, so that each child and parent who comes to Seedlings sees and experiences the love of God. We look forward to seeing each and every Seedling grow.
